To try and keep up with the daily writing practice today I will be writing on a train experience.

One train experience I remember fondly is my trip to Toronto to go to the yearly Nuit Blanche exhibition that I got put onto by one of my greatest friends Ana. I was actually going up to meet up with her. The train ride there felt very cinematic. I was with my father and we were sitting on opposite seats from each other. It was starting to turn dark as it was during the night time ( obviously)so I saw the sky and atmosphere outside become more and more dark. I was listening to an episode of Stay Inside With Earl Sweatshirt while on the train and Earl and Gio provided excellent sounds for it with Standing On The Corner, MIKE and Sun Ra blazing as I was behind transported to the event. It was such a distinct moment. Reminds me now of greater times. When it occurred it was a very perplexing night. I met up with Ana but to find the whole event was scattered and the back and forth from home was very annoying but rewarding as I gleefully got to see the rest of the events with my mother and her boyfriend. It was a nice day but the train ride to the first event was distinct. The reason I may never know 🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️
